These terms govern your use of 20-20-20 Vision (the "App") and any purchase of 20-20-20 Vision Pro. By downloading or using the App, or by purchasing Eye Rest Pro, you agree to these terms.
The App is provided by 20-20-20 Vision LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17357658), registered office 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA ("we", "us"). Contact: help@20-20-20-vision.com.
20-20-20 Vision Reminder is a Windows desktop application that reminds you to take eye breaks. A free tier is available, alongside a one-time paid upgrade ("20-20-20 Vision Pro") that unlocks additional features (smart pausing, keyboard shortcuts, settings backup, and other features as described on this website or within the App).
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App, subject to these terms. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, or sublicense the App itself.
Personal use. The free tier and 20-20-20 Vision Pro are licensed to an individual. You may use them on the computers you work on, including one provided by your employer, as long as you chose the license and it remains yours. If you change job, the license goes with you.
Organisational use. Where an organisation pays for, deploys, centrally manages or requires the App across devices it owns or administers, that is organisational use, and it needs a 20-20-20 Vision for Workplaces ("Workplaces") or Enterprise license rather than personal ones. Buying personal Pro licenses in bulk, or reimbursing staff for them, does not cover organisational deployment. See 20-20-20 Vision for Workplaces.
Organisational licences are sold individually for a fixed term, annual or monthly, as set out on the 20-20-20 Vision for Workplaces page. They license the App for the length of that term rather than permanently.
Prices are set by country and charged in your local currency wherever we offer one. Where you are, 20-20-20 Vision Pro costs $15, and Workplaces licences are priced on the Workplaces page.
Prices on this website are worked out from your approximate location, the same way the checkout works it out, so the two should agree. The checkout shows the exact amount, in the currency you will be charged and including any tax that applies, before you pay, and that is the price of your purchase. If it differs from a price you saw on this website, you can leave without paying.
Tax follows the custom where you are. Where prices are normally quoted with tax included, as they are in the UK and across Europe, the 20-20-20 Vision Pro price you see is the price you pay and the VAT is already in it. Where sales tax is normally added at the till, as it is in the United States and Canada, it is added at the checkout once your location is known, because the rate there depends on your state or province. Workplaces prices are quoted excluding VAT throughout, since they are sold to businesses; the tax due is added at the checkout or shown on your invoice.
If we don't price in your currency, the checkout charges you in the currency it shows, usually US dollars, and your card issuer or bank may convert that at their own exchange rate and add a foreign transaction fee. That is outside our control, and we add no fees of our own on top of the price the checkout shows.
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel an order for digital content. Because 20-20-20 Vision Pro is delivered immediately on purchase (an active license key), the checkout will ask you to expressly confirm that you want immediate access and understand that this waives your statutory 14-day cancellation right, in line with the Regulations' standard exception for immediately-delivered digital content.
If a Pro purchase is refunded or the payment is reversed, the license key issued for it stops working.
Regardless of the above, nothing in this section affects your legal rights if the software is faulty or not as described (e.g. under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
We aim to keep the App and its licensing service available, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access - for example, license validation depends on our licensing service and its hosting provider being reachable. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App over time, and will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.
We want 20-20-20 Vision and this website to be usable by as many people as possible, which is fitting for an app about looking after your eyes.We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as a practical target, including readable contrast, keyboard navigation, and text alternatives for meaningful images. The desktop app also offers a larger, high-contrast text mode and honours your system light/dark theme. We're a small team but we treat accessibility problems as bugs worth fixing. If something is hard to read, use, or navigate, please tell us at help@20-20-20-vision.com and we'll do our best to put it right."
The App is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated here, and our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for 20-20-20 Vision Pro. We don't exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so - for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
The App, its name, and associated branding are our property (or used under license). These terms don't transfer any of that ownership to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised terms.
